ABOUT FIFF
The Flagstaff International Film Festival is a hybrid film festival and feature-length screenplay contest. FIFF presents a wide range of themes, from avant-garde dramas to delightful comedies, captivating animations to gripping science-fiction, appealing to all audiences. Whether you're a film aficionado or a casual movie-goer, you'll enjoy the best of independent cinema from local, national, and international filmmakers. Beyond film screenings, FIFF also hosts Q&A sessions, workshops, and networking events. These provide insights into the filmmaking process, and opportunities to interact with filmmakers and fellow film enthusiasts.

ABOUT FLAGSTAFF
Nestled amidst the landscape of a Ponderosa Pine forest, volcanic fields, and ancient Native American ruins lies our mountain town in Northern Arizona. Often overlooked is our region's four-season climate and status as a hub for some of the state's most renowned attractions.
Established in 1876, Flagstaff's land has been inhabited by native peoples for centuries. With the completion of Route 66 in 1926, Flagstaff became a crossroads of culture and commerce. Today, our tourism appeal extends far beyond the historic highway, earning us the title, "City of Seven Wonders." These wonders include the Coconino National Forest, San Francisco Peaks, Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, Wupatki National Monument, Walnut Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon of Sedona, and the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon South Rim.
Perched at an elevation of 7,000 feet, our town exhibits Arizona's tallest mountain, Humphreys Peak. Our environment offers a warm welcome to those seeking refuge from the heat. Summers here are characterized by mild sunny days and abundant opportunities for outdoor adventures. Evenings offer a refreshing coolness, with July and August bringing some monsoon rains.

THE VENUE
Flagstaff's premier entertainment destination, the Orpheum Theater, sits in the heart of downtown. Dating back to 1911, this historic building remains a locally-owned, independent venue for showcasing musical artists, film screenings, and a variety of community events.
RESTAURANTS
Looking for dining options? Arizona boasts an exceptional culinary scene, offering a wide range of dining experiences from upscale establishments to casual eateries. In Flagstaff, three of our restaurants have been featured on the Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," and endorsed by Guy Fieri.
GETTING AROUND
Whether you are trying to get here, or get around, Flagstaff has an airport fifteen-minutes from town, and the convenience of Uber and Lyft. For those flying in from Phoenix, numerous car rental agencies are nearby, and airport shuttles are also available. If you can spend the time to branch outside of Flagstaff, we are an hour from Sedona, and an hour-and-a-half from the Grand Canyon South Rim.
